Dan Mack, Founder & CEO
Dan Mack’s interest in home adaptations for seniors and individuals with disabilities developed while studying Occupational Therapy at Towson University.
Upon graduation, as Dan worked in hospitals, rehab centers, and long-term care facilities throughout the state, he developed a passion for helping these people avoid institutional care and remain safely in their own homes. That desire led him to start Senior Smart in 2011.
In addition to Occupational Therapy, Dan previously worked as a licensed Maryland Home Improvement Contractor, which provided practical insight he still uses each day as he interacts with Senior Smart clients and their loved ones.
Although Senior Smart has grown and evolved over time, Dan’s passion remains the same: to help people live safely and independently in their homes. Senior Smart is incredibly grateful to the thousands of clients we’ve served, each of whom has enriched us in unexpected ways and whose resourcefulness and resilience inspire the work we do every day.
